Episode 13 - The Globetrotter Interview

On August the 22th, the day after the contentious Australian Federal Election, Harvey Globetrotter was savagely beaten by representatives of the World Wildlife Fund. The Prince Consort denied any involvement on his own part or on the part of his organisation, but eye-witnesses told a very different story. Many weeks passed before the document incurring their wrath, a podcast revealing a global conspiracy in which the panda-loving organisation was implicated, saw light. It has been suggested that publishers fled for fear of a similarly grisly fate. Following its release, Harvey, barely alive and a broken man, but confident that his truth had been told, collected his thoughts and sat down with his compatriot, Finn McCool, to muse on life, love, and the state of the world as he sees it. Severely disabled, and able to speak only with the aid of a voice synthesiser, Harvey is nevertheless still capable of keen insight. The discussion is wide-ranging, perceptive and earnest, ranging from old chestnuts such as the place of Stuartists in modern society, to reminiscence about novels encountered during their schooling days (Z for Zachariah, and the recently adapted-to-film Tomorrow When The War Began). The pride which Harvey still places in revealing the truth to the people is brought strongly to the fore as he recounts the lengths taken by naturalised Swedish citizens the Coen Brothers in pushing their Northern European agenda, and lest listeners deceive themselves that these are men of the past, such contemporary concerns as Sutekh's upcoming Trivia Night are also considered. Episode 12 - A Party Political Broadcast

In a much delayed election-night broadcast, Finn & Harvey urge you to vote for the only party that matters. Waging a literal war on drugs, uncovering the Green Genocide and Nazis are all discussed, and a clear distinction is made between conspiracy theory and conspiracy fact. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is briefly reviewed, before considering the political ramifications of the protagonist's abilities. Germans get a hard time of it, as do pandas, but that's only appropriate.

Episode 11 - The Sutekh Fun-Time Happy Hour

It's second semester, and there's no Sukhast anymore. Instead, during the Sutekh Fun-Time Happy Hour Harvey, Hat Guy & Reg discuss the Tuesday Screenings and show undue suspicion of virgin births before turning to Inception: the Last Shot, "Dream Inner-Ears", and how Cillian Murphy was Keyser Söze the whole time. Then something goes wrong and that Finn guy turns up again. Flossy R. R. Finklestein, "I'll Cry When I'm Dead" by Whack-Tangent-Tastic and midgets both evil and benign all feature.

The Sukhast Episode 10 - The End

In the semester's final Sukhast, and in light of the latest Ordinary General Meeting, Finn & Harvey reflect on the great OGMs of the past. Recommendations are made regarding the necessary preparations, but it's already too late. They also discuss kidneys as a cipher for all other internal organs and heavy metal as an extenuating circumstance until a heart-in-mouth cliffhanger ending that'll leave you fearing for the future of the Sukhast itself.

The Sukhast Episode 9 - With A Dan

In Week 12's Sukhast, Dan joins Finn & Harvey as they discuss Scott Pilgrim, favourite lecturers, the iPad, theses on pimp culture, and the most horrifying things that superheroes have done. We also discover that most Hungarians feel they were better off under communism and that Finn loves Reed Richards unconditionally. Not really.

The Sukhast Episode 8 - Nicholas Cage Special

The topic of the day is Nicholas Cage and his illustrious career, from Adaptation to The Wicker Man. Also under discussion are RPGs - D&D, World of Darkness, and Brazillian Death Squads' fandom of the medium - and Harvey puts on his robe and wizard hat.

The Sukhast Episode 7 - From the Mother Country

Week 10's Sukhast is the least crass yet. Your hosts talk briefly about the British elections, before becoming bewildered by the question of how it relates to Sutekh. They return to their field of expertise with a reading of the esteemed Harry Potter fanfic, 'My Immortal', followed by earnest consideration of the legitimacy of its claim to "so bad it's good" status. Throughout the podcast, hard-line anti-communists fall for flower children and at some point Morgan Freeman teams up with William Shatner to cover internet memes and Beyonce, before it is agreed that the contemporary Pop Pantheon is Justin-based.
